Ms. Rosemary Calderalo, Ph.D., Consultant / Facilitator
Rosemary Calderalo brings over 20 years of change management, program development, grants administration, fundraising and non-profit leadership experience to the team. She currently serves as executive director for 2-1-1 in the Hudson Valley Region of NYS covering a population 2.2 million. (2-1-1 is a 24/7 hotline for information, referral and crisis support; new to NYS, this region was the second to launch in the state.) Prior to this, Rosemary spent 13 years with the American Red Cross in executive director positions in Oswego County, NY, Nassau County, NY and in Greenwich, CT. Dr. Calderalo is recognized for her efforts to implement the post-September 11 th recovery plan for the disaster services department at the Greater NY Red Cross Chapter based in Manhattan. From her earliest professional positions, Rosemary has developed a specialty in the art of successful change management, from concept to implementation and evaluation.
Rosemary is skilled at helping clients develop a practical day-to-day performance management approach to accountability and good stewardship via identification of links as well as gaps between theory and practice. Via public-private partnerships, local, state and federal grants, her experience includes managing over $15 million in grants and resources.
In addition to her full-time work, Rosemary is an adjunct faculty with a local community college specializing in Human Resource Management. She is an experienced facilitator and frequently works with organizations to aid them in making the shift toward measurable goals. She was part of the National Red Cross network of consultants responsible for training new executives as well as a national instructor for a variety of courses ranging from communication skills to disaster services case management. She is currently consulting with Lighthouse International, and is a part time consultant with the inCentergy Into Action Team.
Rosemary holds a doctorate in Adult Education from Syracuse University, a Master's of Science from Mankato State University, MN and a Bachelor of Arts degree from SUNY Oswego. Dr. Calerealo is a graduate of the prestigious Harvard Executive Program.
