Mr. Ken Ward, Senior Consultant
Mr. Ken Ward brings 15 years of consultant and practitioner experience in the areas of performance management, strategic planning, scorecard development, project management, ergonomics, work design, employee training, and process improvement with project work completed in the municipal, manufacturing, service, and education industries.
Mr. Ward has facilitated successful implementation of numerous performance scorecards, IT strategic plans, and process improvement initiatives. He has conducted conflict resolution within various organizations, which has led to the successful completion of once delayed projects and increased performance between conflicting departments. He is currently facilitating the implementation of a Performance Management Program and IT Action Plan, which includes the formation and integration of a career plan with the organization's pay-for-performance initiative, strategic and tactical alignment, and KPI and scorecard development and tracking.
Mr. Ward has both a B.S. and M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Kansas State University. He has a Secondary Education Certification from Rockhurst College and is a Certified and Experienced Instructor/Presenter for Business, Management, Work Design, Math, and Physics. Mr. Ward was nominated as Instructor of the Year for the College of Business, Kansas State University and named as Outstanding Employee of the Year by the De La Salle Education Center. Mr. Ward has been published extensively on topics ranging from managing stress, the balanced scorecard, and linking information technology to performance.
Over the years, Mr. Ward has provided performance management, strategic planning and IT consulting expertise to Charleston, SC, the District of Columbia, Kodiak, AK, Littleton, CO, Los Angeles, CA, Paducah, KY, Portland, OR, and Salem, OR.
